PING Network partnered with Google to create a large-scale student ambassador ecosystem designed to introduce Gemini AI to college campuses in a way that felt natural, social, and student-led.
We designed a campus-first growth model that blended community-building, on-ground activations, and social storytelling.
- Onboarded and activated 4,500 student ambassadors across colleges nationwide
- Built structured engagement frameworks to drive participation at scale
- Enabled ambassadors to host events, spark conversations, and create content
- Encouraged students to integrate Gemini into everyday academic and creative moments
- Designed transparent systems that prioritised motivation, fairness, and long-term engagement
The program was rooted in culture, not campaigns.
Students weren’t asked to “promote a product” — they were invited to:
- Experiment
- Create
- Share relatable moments
- Lead conversations within their own communities
This approach resulted in a highly engaged student network who drove sustained visibility and authentic advocacy for Gemini.
The Impact
- A strong, reusable student community for future launches
- Organic, peer-led visibility across campuses and social platforms
- On-ground events that translated digital curiosity into real-world engagement
- A scalable blueprint for reaching Gen Z through trust and creativity
Our strength lies in combining strategy, cultural insight, and operational scale to create programs that students (and communities) actually want to be part of.
